Privacy

MacL operates the free Trip Planner preview. It does not have enabled product accounts, cloud synchronization, booking or payment services.

Local travel details

Trip dates, guest ages, options, costs, source snapshots and notes are processed in your browser. Importing a JSON file does not upload it to a supplier or GPT. “Save on this device” stores one trip in this browser profile. Anyone using the profile can access it; it is not encrypted cloud storage. “Delete saved copy” removes that stored copy and retains the currently open page. Clearing site data also removes local storage.

Backups and exports

JSON backups include original imported quotes and their source links. CSV, calendar and printed itineraries contain travel details. Downloads remain on your device after browser storage is deleted. Keep exports private and review before sharing. Do not add passport details, card information, account passwords or unnecessary personal information to notes. Calendar export does not send invitations or connect a calendar account.

Website requests

Vercel serves the site and may process connection IPs and normal operational request details. There are no analytics or advertising SDKs, external fonts, automatic supplier requests or GPT calls. External sources and companion-product links open only when selected and have their own policies. Theme preference is stored locally when available.

Controls and questions

You can plan without persistent storage and use downloads for backups. Contact MacL through macl.app for questions. Privacy, retention, account lifecycle and support policies will be reviewed before live integrations, cloud sharing and purchases are introduced.
